What happened to RAP???

So I just thought i should share my opinion on a question that I've not only been asked personally but I've come across on mainstream media and social networking strings.

WHAT HAPPENED TO RAP???

a question I feel can be answered quite easily;

I will tell you what happened to rap;

Hip Hop just as Sculpting, Poetry or Painting is an art and art my friends is emphasized and given meaning by the artist.

Hip Hop as a genre will always change,the music will always change!   as our parents listened to Melle Mel,RUN DMC,FLASH,The Treacherous Three,etc so did we move on to listen to 2 Pac,Biggy,Snoop Dogg,Ice Cube and many more.

Hip Hop is us, if we are sad then the music is sad, if we are happy then the music is happy

My ART is a piece of who I am therefore the question we should be asking our selves is...

We are Hip Hop

I  make the music you listen to,but little do you know its me.
I'm not a gangster I've never shot someone,never sold drugs,I don't wear big ass jeans and Biggys shirts and sneakers.
Why is Hip Hop automatically associated with violence,yes its the only genre that a person does not need to have a great voice to express themselves,and just happens to be the music playing in a drive by but we are not violent. I've been asked before what's hip hop coming to and what's going to happen to Hip Hop,you know what's going to happen to hip hop?...Whatevers happening to us... If we smoked out,hip hop is going to be smoked out...if we doin alright hip hop will be doin alright...people talk about hip hop like its some giant livin in the hillside coming down to visit the towns people...WE ARE HIP HOP...Me,you,everybody,we are hip hop,so hip hop is going where we going...So the next time you ask yourself where hip hop is going ask yourself where am I going,and you will meet hip hop there.

What to expect.

I've been in the rap game for over 8 years now but I still get people coming to me with that boggled look on their face like "you rap dug,I aint know that". I am ready for whatever the game has to throw at me,I'm tired of waiting on other people to do shit for me. Our economy is not set up to support people of talent or people with talents such as the one I possess we like mutants in our very own X men movie.I've been working on this EP(Political Motivation) for over 4 weeks now and the first 2 tracks (1.#Politically Motivated and 2.Ayisafani-Its not the same) are ready  to be set in stone but before you get to hear my second tape you gotta hear my first #LSP coming to you on the 31st of July.@RedstarrGypsy

The definition of Hip Hop: Hip hop is a broad conglomerate of artistic forms that originated within a marginalized subculture in the South Bronx and Harlem in New York City among black and Latino youth during the 1970s.

The amazement of being a musician,the attention 1 gets when dropping a couple epic bars. I won't forget the first time I wrote a rhyme nor will forget the first time heard my voice over a hip hop beat.The society we live in calls us posers coz of the simple thinkers who think the americanisation of hip hop means its for Americans alone,I beg to differ catch music right here or on twitter at @RedstarrGypsy or on my facebook fan page Redstarr LTD the hip hop society.
